Italinemo – Periodicals of Italian Studies in the World website is sponsored by Esperienze letterarie. It provides free access to a searchable database of abstracts of articles from over 50 Italian language academic journals. Materials are from 2000 onwards and have strong coverage of subject areas from the arts, humanities, cultural studies with an emphasis upon the social, literary and cultural history of Italy. It is possible to search the database for articles and/ or book reviews. All information is offered in Italian only.

Servizio Bibliotecario Nazionale (OPAC) – The Union catalogue of Italian libraries. Contains links to catalogues for special types of materials (music, rare books), and to OPACs of participating institutions.

CSR4 – A very impressive collection of literary texts. Includes the full texts of major works.

Digital Dante – Includes texts. From Columbia University.

The Decameron Web – Includes the complete text. From Brown University.

Project Gutenberg – Project Gutenberg offers a lot of worldwide texts available for download.

LingoMatch – a unique local language exchange network serving language learners in Cape Town and cities around the world.
