Undergraduate Courses

The courses offered by the Section fall into two main categories:

  • Italian Intensive (at first year level) and
  • Italian Language and Literature courses (at second and third year level).

The section also offers a course on Italian Cinema which is open to all second-year students and does not require any knowledge of Italian.

Italian Intensive A & B are first-year courses for those who have never studied the language before. Students who have already matriculated in Italian will begin at second-year level (under certain conditions students with some prior knowledge of Italian may be admitted)
